- Unplug appliance and/or turn off circuit breakers to prevent electrocution.
- Lift and pull out surface element.
- Make sure terminals are in good shape, if not, the terminal blocks must be replaced along with the surface element.
- Plug the element into the terminal block and place the end of the support into the slots in the bowl.
- Plug in appliance.
