Replacement Dishwasher Drain Pump

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1. Turn off the power to your dishwasher
2. Shut off the water supply valve
3. Remove the screws that secure the lower access panel
4. Remove the panel
5. Use a wrench to help unthread the water supply line from the inlet valve
6. Unthread screws that secure the junction box cover
7. Pull the cover off
8. **Note the location of the wires**
9. Untwist the wire nuts to disconnect the wires
10. Unthread the strain relief nut and detach the strain relief from the junction box
11. Disconnect the drain hose from the garbage disposer
12. Once the hose is detached, feed it through the cabinet
13. Open the dishwasher door and remove the mounting bracket screws
14. Move the dishwasher out of the cabinet
15. *You may need to adjust the legs to lower the dishwasher*
16. Tip the dishwasher back, so it rests on the rear panel
17. Unthread screws that secure the bottom access panel
18. Disconnect the leak sensor wire and set the panel aside
19. Use a flat-head screwdriver to lift the locking tab
20. Rotate the drain pump counterclockwise to remove
21. **Note the wires**
22. Detach the wires from the old pump
23. Take new Snap Supply Drain Pump out of the packaging
24. Connect the wires to the terminals to the new pump
25. Align the pump on the house and rotate clockwise to lock into place
26. Reconnect the leak sensor wire connector
27. Reposition the bottom access panel and snap into place
28. Rethread the screws to secure the panel
29. Return the dishwasher to its upright position
30. Make sure the drain hose is accessible through the cabinet wall
31. Make sure that the water and power supply line are in the respective channels in the base
32. Gently slide the dishwasher back into the cabinet
33. Adjust the leveling legs if necessary
34. Replace the screws to mounting brackets to the cabinet countertop
35. Feed the drain hose through the cabinet and connect to the sink disposer
36. Make sure the hose is above the connection point
37. Position the wire strain relief in the junction box
38. Secure the strain relief nut
39. Join the wire together and secure them with the wire nuts
40. Align the cover and use a screw to secure
41. Reconnect the water supply line to the inlet valve
42. Replace the lower access panel and secure with screws
43. Turn the water supply line back on
44. Turn the power back on
