4. Tools Needed:

• Phillips Head Screwdriver
• Nut Driver
• Flathead Screwdriver

1. Unplug your dishwasher.
2. Take the top of your dishwasher off by unscrewing the retaining screws from the back of the dryer.
3. Pull the top panel back and remove.
4. Unscrew the back-access panel by unscrewing it, then remove grounding wire by unbolting it from position.
5. Take the power cord out of its slot and stow to ensure it isn’t disconnected.
6. Take out the spring retaining along the access duct by pressing down on the tab above the exhaust duct.
7. Remove the access panel itself by unbolting it from position along the back of the dishwasher.
8. Remove the back panel from the dryer.
9. Pull on the wheel towards the outside of the dryer to remove belt tension.
10. Using a screwdriver, pop off the triangle retaining washer, pull the pulley off its retaining bar, and be sure to take the back washer off the rod it was mounted on as well.
11. Ensure the retaining bar the pulley is on isn’t damaged, then replace the washer and new pulley back into position.
12. Fit the triangular washer into position and reapply belt tension to the pulley system.
13. Close the back panel and bolt it back into place.
14. Place the back-access panels into position, and screw into position.
15. Replace the duct access into position making sure the locking tab is re-engaged.
16. Reset the power cord and make sure it is properly oriented to avoid shortage or disconnection.
17. Screw the small back access panel into position.
18. Put the top panel back into position by placing it over the top locking tabs and then sliding it forward to engage them.
19. Plug your dryer back in and allow for a test cycle to ensure the issue is resolved.
