Snap Supply’s replacement water valves could be the solution to our refrigerator’s ice maker problems. Sometimes when a refrigerator is having problems with its ice maker, it could be that the problem is the inlet water valve and not the ice maker itself.

Installation Instructions
Installation Instructions for 242252702
- Unplug the appliance and/or turn off circuit breakers to prevent electrocution.
- Turn off the water supply of refrigerator.
- With a ¼ inch nut driver remove the six screws that hold cardboard to the base of the refrigerator on the rear and remove the cardboard.
- The water valve is in the lower right corner. It is important to know the location of the water lines. If possible, take a picture of the water valve.
- Use a ½ inch wrench to loosen and remove the water inlet line and unscrew four different water lines
- Use a ¼ inch nut driver to remove the two screws retaining the mounting bracket.
- Remove the water valve. Note the location of wire harness connectors and remove them from the valve.
- With a razor blade, cut off the ends of the existing water lines. Remove the plastic nut and do the same to the rest of the three water lines.
- Press in each tube into its corresponding place in the new water valve, if unsure, refer to the picture taken earlier.
- Reinstall wire harness connections. Screw back in the screws that hold the mounting bracket.
- Reconnect water inlet line, tighten with a wrench.
- Reconnect water supply, place back in cardboard and place screws.
- Plug in the appliance
