1. Unplug appliance and/or turn off circuit breakers to prevent electrocution.
2. Lift and pull out small surface element.
3. Make sure terminals are in good shape, if not, the terminal blocks must be replaced along with the small surface element.
4. Plug the element into the terminal block and place the end of the support into the slots in the bowl.
5. Plug the appliance.
