Installation Instructions
Installation Instructions for 5221ER1003A
Tools Needed:
- Unplug appliance and/or turn off circuit breakers to prevent electrocution.
- Turn off water supply.
- Remove water fill hose with pliers, set aside. Remove lower screws that hold the bracket to the body of the washer, pull the top and lift.
- Make sure to know where the wires and tubes go. Recommended to take a picture and/or mark the hose with a marker. Pull out wire harnesses, place a towel under the hose and with pliers remove the clamps and pull the hoses off.
- Remove the two screws that secure the valve in place and remove the valve.
- To replace the valve, place the water valve in, and place the screws back on.
- Place the water hoses back on and place clamps back on. Reattach the wire harness.
- Place the top back on, replace the screws and reattach the water fill hose.
- Turn water supply on, turn on appliance, and installation is complete.
