Snap Supply’s New Shopify Shop Presence is Coming
If you keep up with our blog posts, you know that Snap Supply is an independent business and a big proponent of other independent businesses. We are big believers in the DIY attitude and in supporting local businesses.
Recently, we have published several blog posts about the ways in which Amazon abuses the small and independent businesses that have done so much to make their platform as big as it is. As sellers on Amazon, this is troubling.
Our focus has always been on offering the highest quality appliance parts to the largest possible number of people at the lowest possible price. As such, we will continue to sell on Amazon as it allows shoppers who might not be explicitly familiar with our company and our mission to find the parts they need at a fair price.
However, we are very excited to be a part of Shopify’s new market platform, Shop. The prevailing philosophy of Shop is to connect customers with independent businesses in a way that is unobtrusive and sustainable.
Shop is currently available on mobile platforms like iOS and Android. It is still a work in progress, and the whole experience is still in development. However, you can currently download the app to use in a limited capacity.
Once you download it, it’s easy to find Snap Supply on Shop!
Eventually, Shop customers will be able to buy the same Snap products that we have always been proud to offer on a marketplace that treats small businesses with fairness and respect.
While the app is still in development, a few key features are already available. As of this writing, Shop is a convenient way to track packages you order from any platform.
Currently, it is possible to shop for a select few parts on Snap Supply's shop page. As Shopify updates their new platform, the Snap Supply Shop page will also begin to host all of the same products and features that our customers have come to love at snap.parts.
We are looking forward to building our Shop store into a strong, organized, and easy-to-use mobile extension of our snap.parts website.
