How to Test Your New Ice Maker

After you've installed your ice maker, you may want to know if it is working correctly.  With Snap Supply's ice makers this is very easy to accomplish. Watch this video or follow these steps below for ice makers - 241798224, WR30X10093, W10190965, 2198597, 5303918344, 4317943.

**Note**  Snap Supply's ice maker will not call for water until it cools down to a temperature that can create ice.  This usually takes between 24 and 72 hours depending on how often you open your freezer door, the freezing temperature, and the surrounding temperature.  

If you're feeling impatient you can do a test cycle, all you need to do is pull the ice rake forward five clicks (image below)

Once the rake has been advanced, and power is applied, it will trigger the ice maker to finish its cycle, roughly 2-3 minutes.  Once the rake returns to the starting point, it will complete the cycle by calling for water.
